This application page is specifically for obtaining bonds larger than $250,000 without necessarily having CPA prepared financial statements. Although employing the services of a CPA to maximize bonding capacity is usually recommended, we can help you bond larger jobs IF you are can send us paperwork documenting your qualifications.
* Print, complete and return THIS APPLICATION along with:
* Business Financial Statement - This is the most important item. An internally prepared financial presentation as of the last fiscal year end is essential. The statement should be more than just a balance sheet and profit and loss statement, additional schedules showing Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables.. and more is recommended. To maximize results, don't stop there! Show them with agings and detail. Send us back up documentation. Next, if it has been more than six months since the fiscal year end, then another more current statement is also highly recommended. Additionally provide former year end financial presentations for best results.
* Checking/Savings/Brokerage Statement(s) - The first page of business and personal debit accounts document cash balances is the best way to document qualifications.
* Bank Line of Credit - An ability to tap into a readily available borrowing capacity if necessary is an excellent way to qualify for performance bonds.Additional items - (Sometimes optional, always recommended for success)
* Proof of Insurance (Declaration Sheet Only)
* Company Brochures/Pamphlets/Literature
* Latest Available Tax Return (Business & Personal, first page only)
* Real Estate Schedule Listing
* Business/Continuity Plan(s)
* Owner/Key Employee Resume(s) Form
Bonding is available without the above! Sometimes some of the above is needed, sometimes it is never asked for. We recommend that you send us any of the above you have available. The more you can give us, the more tools we have to present your qualifications to bond companies. Time is important! Send us what you can right now. Make it a point to send missing items later.
